This icon set supports all display modes from Lo-Res up to Hi-Res.

This icon set includes 8bit (256 colors) and 16bit (65535 Colors) true color icons.

Note: DesignsByBert was the first company to introduce TRUE 16 bit true color icons.

This icon set offers several installation options to suit your personal needs

Nothing is more annoying for designers and most users when the icons show a fuzzy edge once you put the icon on a different colored background than white.
We paid extra attention that our icons will look the same on whatever background color has been chosen. The icons will look crisp, clear and professional.

We included an Icon Manager with this icon set for your convenience. Please use the included icon manager if you plan on moving icons around within different icon sets

All updates are free of charge for this product. We also do offer a 90 days update protection in case the version number changes before the 90 days are over.

UNIcons 2005 is available as Hi-Res and Lo-Res version. For each version there
are two different packages available:

1st Package: All icons contained in one single iconset

2nd Package: the icons are split up in multiple iconsets. Currently the icons
are sorted in 16 categories, each category beeing a seperate iconset.

After extracting UNIcons 2004 you should have the following folder structure
available:

Main Folder Name: UNIcons2005

Folder Name: hires
contains sub folders offering the two different installation packages 'single'
and 'multi'
all icon packages in this folder are for all Hi-Res capable devices running
PalmOS 5 and better

Folder Name: lores
contains sub folders offering the two different installation packages 'single'
and 'multi'
all icon packages in this folder are for all Lo-Res capable devices running
PalmOS 3.5 and higher not including PalmOS 5 and higher

Sub Folder Name: single
contains all files with all icons beeing in one icon set
For Hi-Res: 16b_8b_hr_Full_Reg.prc
For Lo-Res: 16b_8b_lr_Full_Reg.prc

Sub Folder Name: multi
contains all files with icons split up in 16 different category icon sets
For Hi-Res: 16b_8b_hr_Activities_Reg.prc, 16b_8b_hr_Animals_Reg.prc, etc.
For Lo-Res: 16b_8b_lr_Activities_Reg.prc, 16b_8b_lr_Animals_Reg.prc, etc.

Folder Name: iconmgr
this folder contains the freeware icon manager which is essential for some of
the icon set installation options.

Before installing any icon set please install the IconMgr:
Containing folder: iconmgr
IconMgr.prc

Regardless for which application you are going to use the icons please install
the following file/files:

If you wish to install a single iconset containing all icons available in
UNIcons 2005 install the following files to your PalmOS device:

a) For Devices running PalmOS 5 and higher install:
Containing folder: /hires/single/
16b_8b_hr_Full_Reg.prc

b) For Devices running PalmOS 3.5 up to and including PalmOS 4.x install:
Containing folder: /lores/single
16b_8b_lr_Full_Reg.prc

If you wish to install all icons split up in their respective category icon
sets please install the following files:

a) For Devices running PalmOS 5 and higher install:
Containing folder: /hires/multi/
16b_8b_hr_Activities_Reg.prc
16b_8b_hr_Animals_Reg.prc
etc.

b) For Devices running PalmOS 3.5 up to and including PalmOS 4.x install:

In Agendus DateBook you have two options to define the icon set you like to
draw icon from, for your appointments, tasks, to-do's, etc.

1) Select the new icon set before creating/altering an entry:
- pull up the drop down menu
- select 'Options'
- select 'Edit Icons'
- at the top select the drop down arrow left of the currently selected icon set
and select the icon set you like to use for the next entry.

2) Select an icon at time of creating/altering an entry
- create a new entry or click on an existing entry
- click the drop down arrow right of the word: 'Icon: '
- select more icons
- at the top select the drop down arrow left of the currently selected icon set
and select the icon set you like to use for the next entry.
- select the icon of your choice and hit the 'done' button.

Note: If you already do have an icon set available that you use then you can
use the included Icon Manager (IconMgr) to copy icons from our UNIcons 2005 to
your already setup icon set.

Note: With the Icon Manager (IconMgr) you can also rename our icon set to the
default icon set name or whatever you like it to be named.

Note: We recommend to install an icon set listed above under OPTION 1

Note: Default Icon Set name: Icons-DATEBK5

DateBK5 draws it's icons from the icon set named Icons-DATEBK5. If there is
no icon set named Icons-DATEBK5 available it will use the one with a default
flag set.

With the Icon Manager (IconMgr) it is an easy task to find out which icon set
is set as default icon set on the PalmOS device:
- launch the Icon manager (IconMgr)
- the icon set with a yellow star to the right is the default icon set.

Note: DateBK5 is always looking for an icon set named Icons-DATEBK5 first!
Meaning if you use a default icon set which is not named Icons-DATEBK5 and
install an icon set named Icons-DATEBK5 then DateBK5 will start using this
icon set.

Note: If you already do have an icon set available that you use then you can
use the included Icon Manager (IconMgr) to copy icons from our UNIcons 2005 to
your already setup icon set.

Note: If you just prefer to use the default icon set, to draw your icons from
then just use the Icon Manager (IconMgr), included in this archive, to copy
icons between our icon set and the default icon sets.

Note: We recommend to install an icon set listed above under OPTION 1

Note: Default Icon Set name: DataShield Icons

DataShield is specifically looking for it's own icon set. It does not use
a possibly already available icon set set as default icon set.

So make sure if you do not have an icon set named DateShield Icons on your
device to just install our icon set and renamed it with the Icon manager
(IconMgr) to DataShield Icons and DateShield will then use our icon set as
default.

Note: If you already do have an icon set available that you use then you can
use the included Icon Manager (IconMgr) to copy icons from our UNIcons 2005 to
your already setup icon set.

Note: If you just prefer to use the default icon set, to draw your icons from
then just use the Icon Manager (IconMgr), included in this archive, to copy
icons between our icon set and the default icon sets.

Note: We recommend to install an icon set listed above under OPTION 1

Note: Default Icon Set name: SplashDataIcons

SplashID draws it's icons from the icon set named SplashDataIcons. If there is
no icon set named SplashDataIcons available it will use the one with a default
flag set.

With the Icon Manager (IconMgr) it is an easy task to find out which icon set
is set as default icon set on the PalmOS device:
- launch the Icon manager (IconMgr)
- the icon set with a yellow star to the right is the default icon set.

Note: SplashID is always looking for an icon set named SplashDataIcons first!
Meaning if you use a default icon set which is not named SplashDataIcons and
install an icon set named SplashDataIcons then SplashID will start using this
icon set.

Note: If you already do have an icon set available that you use then you can
use the included Icon Manager (IconMgr) to copy icons from our UNIcons 2005 to
your already setup icon set.

an icon set named HS2Icons then HandyShopper will start using this icon set.

Note: If you already do have an icon set available that you use then you can

your already setup icon set.
